       Starving Writers Books is the bookstore that has  the best discount prices for new books without having to pay for a store membership. We do not have an annual membership that you have to pay for in order to get  savings on books.

   We are all about discount prices when it comes to books and our goal is to have the lowest price in the world or to at least match it.  You will never pay the retail price for a book and in most cases  we will have the lowest online price for new books. Even if we can't beat  someone else's price we do have something that no other book store - free gifts for any purchase in our bookstore. It doesn't matter if you buy one item or one hundred items we always have a free gift to go with your book, music or DVD purchase.  This is just one more part of our great service towards our customers and we do this without you paying for a store membership because everybody should get a great price on a book.

  In addition part our commitment to excellence is great customer service. You can call us  or email us and we will help you find what you need. If you don't see it in our store then give us a call or email us and we will find it for you if its available. For college students we can find all of your text books and still give you the best price on you books for school-email us or call us with your list and let us find them for you. When it comes to discounts nobody can give better discounts for you when it comes to buying a book and as long as the book is distributed through Ingram or Bakery and Taylor book dealers then we can find it for you.  Great Customer service and the best prices are what you get with Starving Writers Books. 

Ordering Products

We accept all major credit cards, checks and money orders - find out  the details.

Order Online

  All online Payments are processed through the Starving Writers Books payment center. The Payment center is out storefront for the bookstore. Our online merchant is PayPal, click on the PayPal box to use process your payment when using a CC/Debit card. You will process the payment from out payment page with PayPal. You do not need a PayPal account to purchase products from our store, but you can use a PayPal account if you like.  There will be a link that says "continue if you do not have a PayPal account" When you are done processing the payment you will be redirected back to the Starving Writers Books storefront.  All orders will be processed through our payment center, which is the Starving Writers Books storefront. If you paying with a check/money order you can still process the order online, but you will have to send us the check or money order. The order will not be complete until the check or money order is processed.

Order by Phone

 You can call us on the phone and make an order if you do not want to make an online purchase. All phone orders are made with credit or debit cards and we can also make your order through PayPal.

Mail Orders

     You can print our order form,  fill it out, and send it to us through the mail with a check or your credit or debit card information. If you pay by check please keep in mind that we will process the check first before we make the order so there will be a delay in the fulfilling the order by an extra 5 business days. If you order through the mail and can receive a discount please call or email us first so see what the total amount of the order will be.

Shipping and Mail

 

TABLE RATES OR "BEST WAY"   

  Shipping and Handling prices are based on the total price of your order and shipping zone rates hence the table rate, which is also listed as "best way" shipping through the checkout process. We ship our products through FEDEX or UPS, first class so they will get to you in a few days. Our shipping prices are first class rates with FEDEX and UPS. We only ship first class since products have to be ordered through a book dealer or orders are made on our "print on demand" basis ( only printed when an order is made). Orders will take a few days to process. It will take 7 to 10 business days to fill your order depending on what zone you live in.

RETURNS

     Returns will be shipped through this method as well based on the table rates. All Products are non refundable and non returnable unless damaged. Returns will be shipped at the customer’s discretion and if the product returned to us is damaged we will replace it with another product and a refund of the shipping costs.

 

DAMAGES OR LOST ITEMS

     If an item is damaged or lost we will file a claim with the shipping company and follow procedures through them. If an order is lost and the shipping company finds through the claim process that the item was delivered correctly then we will not credit you for the lost item. Please keep in mind some items delivered do not require a signature from the recipient. If the item is lost after being delivered in a case like this we are not responsible for the lost item and you will not be credited for the lost item.
